Guatemala Huehuetenango Organic

This organic and fair trade certified coffee comes from the well known quality producing region of Huehuetenango. We are happy to bring this coffee back again this year because this a cooperative that is not only a producer of wonderful coffee, but they also are part of a growing number of exemplary organizations.  Asociacion Barillense de Agricultores (ASOBAGRI) are empowering local communities to thrive by training and providing support while still preserving the indigenous heritage, clothing and dialects that exist from one mountain ridge to the next. And because each community is still cultivating wonderful coffee without using synthetic fertilizers these coffee farmers are true gems that are setting the example for others to follow.
